So I listened to the "OnStar" thing on the Ragan Web site (www.ragan.com) and fear gripped my heart and I thought I was going to hyperventilate. Seriously.
The trained actress who plays the "customer"--Suzanne Ecklund, who works on the Web site--tells me I must be weird.
Am I weird, or does Suzanne just not understand how terrifying communication technology is?

Apparently communications is terrifying indeed, for me at least. I can't even find where you're talking about this "on star" thing on the Ragan site. Gaa!
Please help (use stick drawings and arrows if you must).

Eileen - David's referring to the big black square with white words in it that is sort of in the centre of your screen once you open the ragan.com site's main page. There's a funny looking arrow thingy in the middle of the big black box that is sitting on top of the words and looks like a mistake. Put your mouse on that thingy and click. It's just sound though so you'll need to have speakers (and have them on) to hear it.
And David - yes you're weird - I laughed my ass off! It's very clever. Unfortunately for me, it isn't clever ENOUGH to get my boss to approve the travel costs so I can go. Rats!

Thanks, Kristen. See, Suzanne Ecklund is weird, so I couldn't take her word for it that I am. But you're not very weird as far as I've been able to tell, so I appreciate the confirmation.
Eileen, no need to weigh in at this point, even if you do figure the thing out. You are at least as weird as Suzanne.

David - Hoo Boy! Would some of my friends laugh at that! I can be plenty weird, I assure you. However, I usually try to keep it under wraps especially in writing and where the whole world can see!
Cheers

Weird is a compliment in the Burmeister household. I thank you.

Is it "hickey" or "hiki"?
