The Beloit list is always a classic. But to be fair, while we marvel at how little today's freshmen know about our cultural frame, I assert we know less about theirs. For example David, without visiting Wikipedia, could you identify Sander Kleinenfeld?

Uhh Mike, I went to Wikipedia and it's never heard of Sander Kleinenfeld either. A search of Yahoo! and Google uncovered references to "Kleinenfeld" with some vague comment about
"progressive trance."
David, if we're mentioning shortstops, why wouldn't we start with Don Kessinger (or Ernie Banks, before he moved to first base)?

I knew I had achieved wisdom (aka great age) when I told a twentysomething friend that I was watching a Clark Gable movie, and he said, in all sincerity, "Who's that?"

Sander Kleinenfeld is one of the hottest DJs in the House-Techno-Trance scene, and a fixture at Sensation White, a rave where 60,000 plus dress in white and dance/gyrate to electronic beats on the floor of the Amsterdam ArenA (CorrecT SpellinG)... His track "This Is Sensation" was a chart topper in Europe this summer.
