My take on Twitter now on Ragan.com

Thanks, all who helped me think (and get) through my gonzo Twitter story a while back. Here it is.

Just read your article about Twitter over on Ragan.com. I followed you, too. But since you were more or less experimenting, I wonder if you'll bother popping back on Twitter to follow me back?

STRUMPETTE IS A MAN?!?!?!?!

Nice article, though I had known I'd be quoted quite as much, I might have chosen my words more carefully.

For example, receiving tweets via phone drives *me* bonkers, but a lot of people *prefer* it. One advantage of Twitter is that you can do with it what you will.

Like Bryper, I wonder if you will be back? We wuz jest gettin' to know ye.

Allan, Bryper:

I don't know that I'll be back. Been very busy these days with lots of projects that I don't think Twitter can help me with. Twitter does, at the moment, seem like just another thing to check.

But it sure is easy to get in and get out, so it's not as if I'd have any reason to hesitate if I did see an app.

Allan, your comments were very smart and insightful and sharp as always. I think they were also taken as your take--you yourself talked in terms of having "copped" an attitude about Twitter. ...

Jane--

Brian Connolly runs the Strumpette Web site, and claims that there are a number of editors there. But until he introduces me to a hot babe who can demonstrate a stinking, rotting hatred for every new development in the field of public relations since Edward Bernays kicked it, I'm calling her Brian.

The world as I know it is falling apart.
