I've just seen a news item to the effect that there are now over 27.2 web logs or blogs currently on the Internet. The number of blogs is reported to be doubling every five and a half months.

I rather doubt that all 27 million are written by human beings. (cf Splogs) Of the remaining few, you have to wonder how many are written by *sentient* human beings.
However, wouldn't it be great if some of the mechanically-generated blogs were written by this chappie: http://www.boingboing.net/2006/02/13/pkd_robot_mia.html
