An article in today's USA Today focused on Arianna Huffington's blog, The Huffington Post. It is the fifth most linked to blog on the web. The others, from top to bottom, are:
Engadget, Boing Boing, Gizmodo, TechCrunch.
No word yet on where Content Matters ranks, but I'm assuming we have some hills to climb before catching up with Arianna.
She has a staff of 43 full-time employees but, the story, mentions casually, the website has yet to turn a profit. Next year, the story says, the blog might be profitable because of a surge in traffic due to the 2008 elections.
