About Tim

Tim O’Keeffe, director of Web content at Colgate University, made the jump from journalism to academia in 2003.

Tim writes and solicits stories for the Colgate homepage, works on content with campus web stakeholders, and manages the university’s Web 2.0 initiatives, such as video features, podcasts, and blogs.

He led the redesign of www.colgate.edu, which launched in January ’07.

Previously, Tim worked as online news editor for indystar.com, the online unit of The Indianapolis Star newspaper. He also has worked at the Albany (N.Y.) Times Union and the Rome (N.Y.) Daily Sentinel.
