‘20th century news organizations are an afterthought’

Last fall, I wrote about the video, Epic 2015. I thought it was sensational fluff created by a bunch of social media-obsessed futurists.

The 2004 video claims 20th century media, namely The New York Times, will either fold or, in the Times’ case, become a print newsletter for elitists and senior citizens by 2014.

Nonsense, I thought.

And then yesterday I revisited this video. Now I’m a believer. Something similar to what this video predicts will happen very soon—certainly before 2015; some of it actually is happening.
