Have you seen Paula Deen get smacked in the face with a ham?

Talk about a ham-fisted move.

On Monday, celebrity chef Paula Deen was handing out free hams at a charity event in Atlanta when an overzealous person in line—who had just watched Deen throw a ham—decided to toss one back to her.

It hit her in the face.

She’s fine and laughing about the experience and getting great exposure from the mishap. For instance, I had never heard of Paula Deen until this morning, when I read that a ham hit her in the face.

And to the guy who threw the ham, welcome to your 15 minutes, sir.

Here’s the video (with a brief commercial before it, sorry), as you’ll notice Deen is just off-camera when it happens.

First of all you have to admit this was funny. I love Paula Deen to death and I know she was laughing at herself to so I think it is okay to get a little giggle out of it as well. She definitely got herself out on the media from this event. To be known can be painful!

Truthfully, the sea gull flying into Fabio's face was way funnier ;-)

Not nice, but there's something that tickles the funny bone when someone gets clobbered with a flying ham.
Perhaps Paula Deen has been hit with swine flew?
