Hal Gordon is a freelance writer based in Houston, Texas.
In the course of his nearly 25 years as a speechwriter, Hal worked in the Reagan White House and for General Colin Powell. He has also worked on a freelance or fulltime basis for a raft of major corporate executives. Hal's last fulltime employment was as corporate speechwriter for ConocoPhillips, one of the 10 largest Fortune 500 corporations, where he wrote speeches for chairman of the board Archie Dunham.
Hal has a B.A. in political science from Drew University, a law degree from George Washington University, and an M.A. in public communication from American University.
His hobbies include biking and fencing.
